Ah please...

Yes it's a truly horrible design, yes it must weigh a ton, yes it's built out of scaff poles, yes that kite gave me the giggles (and it doesn't even fold in properly), yes it's slower than an Oppie, yes yes etc.

But the look of pride on the old boy's face when he came back ashore makes it all worth it.

I'm pretty sure the music on the 470's clip is Aerosmith. And the footage has definitely been up before as I rember seeing it a while back.

And yes Lake Macquarie, Belmont Bay, N.S.W., Australia is the best place I have ever sailed aswell. And thankfully I get to sail there every weekend.

  And when it sinks under the weight of all that scaffolding, small marine creatures can use it to make their home, futher enhancing the ecology of the sea. Unless the batteries leak or something.

Is an "active rudder" one that moves? As opposed to an inactive rudder.
