1: Toppers are melted together when they are made so... ...just cut it up into bits and store them in little nooks and crannys in your car, then aslong as you have numbered each bit you could just melt them back together!! 2: Tape it to the roof just infront of the roof box side ways, then drive off a hill and glide there. (toppers sideways create great aerofoil shapes!) |

Try an extra round trip! Cheaper than getting a tow bar & even if you borrow a trailer you would need to return it. Probably still cheaper than using a courier / shipper Just expensive in your time, but then again you get to see more of the best part of Britain i.e. Scotland |

I have seen a Laser on top of a MG Midget softop. A Peugeot 800 series thingy, and probably other large estate cars (Volvo 70) is quite big enough to put an Oppie in the back. Would they fit a Topper instead?

I once transported a Topper in the back of a Cortina Estate - you couldn't shut the hatch back but it was OK for a short distance. Rick |

Remove the bung and insert an industrial vacuum pump up it's bunghole (!) start vacuum and simply roll topper up like a kip-mat. Sorted. |

Or, if you fill it with helium it might float, so you could use the painter to tie it to the car toe loop and hey presto - no need for a tow bar or trailer. |
