James I need to step in here Maffioli is the most advanced rope on the market. By a long way, not only does it have a larger than standard SK75 core. The core is 12 strand and UV coated rather than the standard 8 plait non uv coated core. Also you have not mentioned yet your Speedpucks on each side of your boom!!! They should be both with you by friday I have pulled some strings. |

Ahh, rope one of my mastermind subjects! I was talking about ropes like to like between manufacturers. For a 4mm control line style rope you can not really get better than Maffioli 78race. http://www.ldcracingsailboats.co.uk/index.asp?selection=deta iled&uid=9745 It has a silver SK78 (the new version of dyneema) core with a kevlar and polyester jacket which loves cleats. I have a lot of it on my 800 it is the titties. I could get it with a kevlar and cordura jacket if you wanted to buy 1000m! |

At that price does it also tell you when to tack? How much p/m for the kevlar and cordura jacket? What does cordura do as well as sounding cool? Perhaps all the pimpers should get together in a pimp syndicate to split the 1000m. Cant be pimped without it. What I would really like for this weekend is a heated mainsheet please. Surely it is possible to make one that generates heat every time it moves or is bent around a corner. Please can you look into it for me Adam? Edited by Peter Barton |

I'll try - the full mod list is - old deck off, reduce freeboard (a lot!), new centreboard case moved forward, new transom, and new deck. I didn't mention the full list before as just saying redeck fitted better with respray and rerope |
