it should be tapered too, insert 6 inches into the tail of the 6mm, and stitch it in there

And also your toe-strap ties should be spliced d-12?

Hope you used a hair dryer to apply those star studs, it was bloody cold as I
recall when you were fiddling about, they stick better warm and dry.

S2AS are good guys, bought my Bic Open through them.
