Good feeling isn't it? (Getting your pic on, I mean!) I'm envious, I'd love to sail a Merlin at Salcombe. Actually, I'd love to sail anything at Salcombe week, I spent the '82 season teaching sailing in Salcombe, and I just loved the place. Went back a few years later, for my b'day, and met one of the other instructors who shared my b'day: he'd just done his first waterstart (on a sailboard). He was so happy, it was his seventysomething birthday....LtCol Peter Morton (Retd) if I remember right, what a character! |
