Big problem with going E is soaking down now JuJu3 is through the doldrums- TommyTanker is now 5 miles ahead (and 150 places), up 1 mile - keep losing places whether I go for speed or soak down with either the light kite or the code 0.

That said, the doldrums are just like the pond on a windless wednesday night - just keep moving and don't worry about the direction!

Looking at the game forum Volvo may regret giving sponsorship   North Sail's has pulled it's sponsorship (this may have been part of the original agreement). There are some seriously angry players...It's a shame, this game had great potential but it's now degenerating into chaos..The technical side of things seems very amaturish as well with server crashes left right and center.

A great idea and good fun (mostly) but next time it needs to be run by people who know what they are doing.

Look where Aldabra is. There was mark at the bottom of Sri Lanka yesterday. Now it is not there and he went round the top of sri lanka and will win the leg by a day or so.
