wish they'd stop running 'adverts' under the guise of news, it makes a bit of a mockery of this site sometimes (and yes, I know it's not just Allen who do it)

Plus it is news, they've released a new range. The people on this website are clearly the ones who need to know so it's just as newsworthy as what happened at the last sailing event.

The news releases from companies are clearly labelled as such. If you don't want to read them you don't have to.

Like most things, this site needs advertisers to keep running and we are very thankful to them for that. We aim to give our advertisers as good a return as possible on their investment. If they pulled out then this site would simply ceace to exist.

In answer to the question - 'is Allen going to replace the wire-arm jammers?' - now that we are dealing direct with our customers we are in a far better position to react to their feedback.  Our wire-arm jammers offer a good weight/strength option, but we are aware that in certain applications a more agricultural product might be a better alternative.

The de raker, I presume it's that length of metal sticking out of the adjuster with a hole in it, presumably connected by a pin to the adjuster (via the hole at the other end) thus lengthening the shrouds and deraking.
