Our Topper has both sail sizes and I'd recommend the 4.2 sail rather than a reef, for a lighter helm. I would say: go for the smaller sail, it's an investment in the future! |

Agree. You need to be 9 to 11 stone for optimum weight in a breeze (F6) more like 10 1/2

Definately. Optimum weight I reckon is about 9.5 stone. Rick- if you get down to 11 stone you'll struggle in a force 5 or less

if you have a leaky topper make sure you take out the bladers for the centerboard and put some filler in between the two skins. also put some filler were the gasket should be in the self bailer, as they seem to perish!! couple of tips.
