Tendency of sportboat development

   Hello all:)
I am planning to build sportboat like Melges-24. I want that my boat will be not old model. Now i decided to build boat like Melges-24 with some changing in construction, but may be have a reason to build more modern and more sport boat. Prompt me please how kind of boat is modern today?
