Dear Dave,

I know you're on your hols, but I need help.  Its my last day with my current employer today and so I was out on the rag last night.  Now I feel like I'm at death's door.  Ideally I'd be curled up in bed, but I've got my leaving debrief this afternoon so I've had to come in.   I suspect its bad form to chunder on the HR director's carpet, so I need a hangover cure.  Any suggestions?

Please note that the surgery will be closed for a few days, if you have any urgent problems still post them and I'll have a laugh at them sometime next week.

You should be sceptical, when I landed a rather large contract my business account moved 'up to the first floor' met my new business manager for a coffee and a chat then the W@*^£" charged me £25-00 for his time, spotty little oik.

Did you know that there is no law that says you have to have a business account, I now run mine through a personal account and its free

Bleed him dry then change accounts before he has a chance to charge you.

Your family are right, to a certain extent.  You should cut off all the rusty non stainless fittings from the N12.  You should also hunt down the scum that sold you the boat in the first place, stuff all the rusty fittings you have cut off the boat into his pockets and then chuck him in the deep end.

A good moan never did anyone any harm.

The only benefit to this farce is that it gives me some pocket money to spend on boats, but i don't know if it is enough if i want to buy a finn as well as having a laser.

Having sailed a Finn in the past I can say that you are in the right job if that is what you want to sail.

They cost a bloody fortune (but are worth every penny), so in your job as an accountant you should be able to 'obtain' funds from some of your wealthier clients accounts in order to fund your new purchase.
