From memory, the kite had just been hoisted at that point and wasn't full at all. I'll try and get a shot under a different angle and see what you think.

thanks bns that one is cool. all the ones look really good.  isis i think that the pole isnt quite out in the other pics but is only about an inch or so from not out that is due to the rope fraying in the pole and making it really hard to pull out. |

Should have seen it and replaced it before it got to that state tho. Should be ckecking the boat over after sailing everyweek. If it had broken you could have trashed a few things!

to be honist i think u are talking rubbish!! we do cheak the boat over but it was still there and had quite alot of inner core to wear though before it went, also if it did go the only thing that would happen is the tack would fly off and i would just drop the spinni and pull the pole in, we have done it before.
