hello nobil, i am in the process of talking to a marine surveyer for a quote. i have tried every where local to where my boat is kept with no luck. i am including some url`s of pics of my boat. i have shed loads of reciepts to prove work that i have done to the boat. the engine has had hundreds spent on it, from reground crank and shells, new piston rings, thermostat, impellar, engine mounts, cylinder head valves reground professionlly, the list goes on. hull paints used Blakes sfe200, underwater primer, cruising performer ( antifouling ), boot line paint, above the waterline, epu undercoat, polygloss. really the list is endless

This is exactly the information we are seeking before we could offer Third party liability cover.

I will send you a private message explaining in detail, how you should proceed with the insurance.

Information  hmm, i phoned you today with the quote ref, and was told i still needed to have a condition report. Well i managed to find someone to do the report, they are 30 miles away from my boat, i was quoted a whopping £240.

anyway enough of that, i have decided to go some where else.

                         thanks for trying

Just to clarify.

Bananaman - Having seen the photographs of your boat, we can give cover but will require the details of work carried out, copies of receipts etc to demonstrate the boat's condition - This is the condition report we are referring to, and the information you had indicated could be made available, in a previous post.  We do not require a full out of water survey for this boat.  As a further point, it was not Noble Marine who quoted the premium of £240!

Laser47- the premium for third party only cover on your Laser will be just £26.25.

Jon

try the Basic Boat Liability Company on 08707870030, if you are looking for a third party insurance only, no hassle at all.

Craft insure are generally pretty cheap initially, and you can sort everything on the web.

From experience they sort out claims quickly and efficiently, but tend to hike up your following years premium after the claim
