I wonder???

   umm...NO living in Essex it's clear what a chav is, and alot (not all) of them cause alot of trouble and i wouldn't want to be classed as a one because unless you are one every body hates them!

	yer i now what you mean living in croydon (were the home office is) you get loads of chavs from loads of country's. i hate going shopping there you feel like the only normal person there!!

	Fer Christ's sake give it a rest with Chavs already!! Personally I think it's a bit sad that so many people wear boat shoes and Yottie jackets to the London Boat Show and the Dinghy Show. I mean in London, even in winter/spring you're hardly going to need that amount of waterproofing or grip in the wet. So there you go another (frankly ridiculous looking) stereotypical group, easily identifiable and probably hated with as much passion by some.

	is it just me or has anyone else noticed how the (dare i say it) "chavs" have adopted henri lloyd as one of their brands to be seen it it could be just me as i'm from quite a posh area and a few of the chavs we have here have parents who own/joint own yachts and stuff

	i know about burberry (hey who doesn't) but i thought pringle print was more "townie" than flat out "chav" because it was a fashion phase
