how do schools help my school has managed to turn out over 10 national championship sailors, this is nothing to do with the school actually they laugh at me when i say i cant play rugby beacause i am going sailing |

Every man and his dog is after sponsorship from
marine-related industry. Depending on how much you need, think about non-marine related companies - ideally local that would enjoy some advertising coverage in local press with great pictures. 'local girl done good' type stuff. Local press lap this up. Local press coverage i far easier to achieve than National, and therefore easier to 'promise' to the sponsor. If they don't know about boats, 'photoshop' some pictures of your boat with their logo on sail or hull if you can. Helps to put it in their face a bit, so they know what they are getting (particularly if they don't know one end of a boat from another. good luck |
