RegFest 2008 Brightlingsea

   This weekend starting tomorrow for 3 days.

Reg Whites Official retirement festival of catamaran sailing. At Brightlingsea sailing club.

60-80 boats expected with crews coming from Scotland and Ireland too!

Hurricane 5.9SX's, plus Shadows and Spitfire Nationals.

Reg will be speaking after dinner and wheeling out his 1976 Montreal Tornado Gold Medal.

Reg's grandsons Henry and Freddie will be sailing a Spitfire.....

The Hurricane fleet has hired a professional cameraman to shoot a promotional video and the Irish are promising to dress in green and show us Brits a good craic!!

This is going to be one heck of a bash with sailors from other classes jumping on Hurricanes and Spitfires just to be part of it....

	I was planning to be there (Sorry Stu); but lack of Funds (as the result of lack of Job) and time preclude. Have fun people. If anyone wants to drop a boat at Grafham on the way back ready for the open in a couple of weeks time; give the club a ring and I am sure we have room.

	I popped over to Brightlingsea but too late on Sunday pm. Oh well, there was more sun than wind, glad the land activities where great.
