Dear Marjory

I seriously need help.  Watching the Olymipics I have started to think that the Star is an interesting boat.  I don't want to offend readers of a respecable magazine but I have even fantasied about sailing one.  What is wrong with me and what can I do about it?!!!

P.S. The one thread of hope I hold onto is that I do still think the Ynigling is a complete dog.  I admit I have fantasised about one particular Ynigling but although the fantasy did involve some rigging equipment it definitly did not extend to sailing the boat.

Any boat is more interesting than no boat. Some boats interest different people. So what's the problem?

There is at least one Star owner who frequents this place. They have a charm all of their own...

I guess any boat where you let the mast (a knitting needle) go forward of the bow and then put a 9 foot jib stick onto it at the best angle to snap it like a twig when going down wind must be an interesting one to sail...I'm pretty sure they wouldn't go well at Whitefriars, though, so I'd better stick to dinghies.
