I'm thinking of going tall boat sailing for a week in the spring term (if my evil headteacher will let me - if ms knight happens to be a member here i did not just say that) Has anyone done this before? Is it good?

Will do! I have just filed my "holiday request form" - fingers crossed! I want to go whether i get permission from school or not but my parents are of a different opinion XD. Am really looking forward to it though! I think i will be going to tenerife which will be amazing and hopefully warm at the beginning of march which england will definately not be!

The Jubilee Sailing Trust runs 2 tall ships, mianly for the disabled, but they need able-bodied crew as well. If you dont fancy the cold North Sea they do run down to the Southern hemisphere as well!
