yeh but a shackle wouldn't stretch thrpwing off any measurements you have if your going to race it at all, or get it set up with what feels right for you

umm....It's a topaz, the jib is like a hanki, there is never enough tension in a topaz jib to need a shakle, do it the simple way katg!!

such flattery, you might be best to attch the foot with a shackle, or better yet the top, then you can tension the foot down acordingly...

my mum has the same problem...apparently, you atach rope through the top of the jib, through the eye that sticks out of the mast...
then the front of the jib should be attached to a piece of rope on front of the boat (there should be a thin piece of rope as a loop where the rubber handle is at the front) then the jib sheets are pretty simple to work out from there. Hope thats of some help! sorry it's not that great!! good luck! |
