i dont know anything about them but i think it is intresting to note that there are no main sheet winches! maybe this is just an oversite on the CAD drawings.  personely i would expect them on a 40fter

Heard from a new crew member on a 38 footer in force 6.

"This mainsheet isn't working properly. It is very hard to pull in."

Crew boss thinks: "He is useless and weak. Don't invite him back." And we didn't.

You might be able to get away with a good course/fine tune arrangement on a 40-footer mainsheet but I agree it is on the borderline. 38-footers I've sailed used course/fine but a 41-footer used winches.

as with most PROFILES of anything, all the finer detials are left out, and it is just a profile of how it will look from that angle

You will also be able to buy a Class 40 yacht through a Yacht Management Company in Isle of Man which will save you the VAT on your yacht and on anything you purchase forthe yacht.  That includes sails, berthing fees, repairs, etc.
