What are peoples favourite venues for a championship? What makes a great venue? For me Lake Garda takes some beating - sun, fantastic Italian mountain scenery, cool refreshing and clean mountain water and a very regular strong wind. Add this to a beautiful venue like Riva with plenty of nice restaurants and accomodation and you have a winning combination. |

I'd have to say Garda but after 6 visits it is less appealing due to the one way nature of the tactics. Also; it usually dosn't give much variation in conditions so you will always get a heavy weather series or a drifter; not much in between. The title does say Europeans but Durban in SA was great for the Fireball Wrolds in 94. In Europe our own Mounts Bay is also worth a mention. Rick |

 , but I'd say if the weather was good (as always), and if the people there are nice and chat n make you feel welcome!

the strange thing is all these clubs are large comercial centres only interested in your money i find the best events are at member run clubs! |
