Dave on a similar line to last question on tow bars, how do I convince my crew to get a tow bar on her car? we are planning on doing most of the circuit this year and she has booked the time of work already.  The only problem is she is the one with the car, and she does not want to tow the boat.  My parents are getting tired of towing it and having just graduated I'm not in any position to get my own car just yet (I'm supposed to be saving up so we can go to Sydney for the worlds).  Failing that, anyone fancy helping me get to painghton for the beginning of August?

Since she has already booked the time off work, explain to her how she would be daft not to pay to have the towbar fitted. After all you would willingly pay to have it fitted but you have no job, so it is her responsibility, and her car, end of story.

If she doesn't want to tow the boat, (and lets face it who would want their pride and joy being towed by a girlfriend) get her to put you on the insurance.  After all you are going to be treating her to the holiday of a lifetime in Oz.  It's the least she can do for you.

I've been an active member on this forum for some time and, until recently, I've used a boring old of a picture coffee cup for an avatar.
I've changed to the present one (see left... bit more... there you are!) a couple of days ago. What do you think it is?
Personally, I thought it was a clown fish jumping for joy... My husband saw a frog, which I find quite offensive, for obvious reasons.

Should I go back to my old avatar?
