Yep, That year we finished 3rd last, the next we were equal on points with the winners! Was sailing at a traveller where a certain port edgar helm was competing. Its not my fault that they ending up wet and cold and at the back of the fleet. Do you remember the starting move that was pulled on Jim Blyth and AJ at the grundig a few years ago. As the start gun went, they were level with the mast of the committee boat but on the wrong side!!! |

Yeah that was class, actually that year on the pipers we finished mid-fleet, about 12th out of 26, some achievement all things considered, the Squonk factor was kicking in I think but enough said about that! Even classer was the Grundig straight after in the 4twinky where we absolutely stormed, remember me saying bang it right, that's where the wind is and coming out at the top mark in front of the whole fleet. Can't believe they almost messed up our results because they couldn't beleive we done the same amount of laps as the cats and more than the 14s.

That was classy, taking the rip out of cornwall for not being able to count to 3!!! Remember the 505 scottish when we were finishing as the europe's were starting, the rest of the 5oh fleet got caught up big style |

We got it though going down wind with the kite up and a bloke in a Europe shouting at us to get out of his way and us having to do turns. Well daft having a Europe traveller sailing the same course as the Scottish 505 nationals |

But it was the europe uk nationals. We were having a loud, politically incorrect conversation on the way to the start about the male europe sailors... The problem was that cornwall had set a stupid course. Having the fast fleet (505) start first and do an inner loop course and then the slow fleet (europe) start second and do an outer loop - CARNAGE!!! |

Made it interesting though, shame we only got one days sailing in, mind you the Caple shop and pub idea was good when we couldn't get on the water the first day. |
