With the ever increasing cost of fuel, travel to events is increasingly expensive..... would anyone be interested in the complete kit to transport 2 Hurricanes on one trailer?

I've got the full kit made by Andy Webb, moulded fibreglass cups for front & back beams plus mast support moulded for 2 masts for sale.

If anyone is interested let me know.

Have you got any pictures? As a question will these work with other boats other than Hurricanes?

I haven't got any pictures of the boats stacked using them but I can do some of the cups. They work really well.

The cups are moulded to the shape of the main and rear beam of the lower boat and the underside of the upper boat so it all fits together tightly.

They would probably fit other boats with a wee bit of modification.

What is the best way to post pics here?

There's a symbol above the box you type your reply in with a tree and a blue arrow poitning upwards. Make sure your photos are sensibly sized (800*600, jpeg format should do it) and use that to upload them.

alternatively, upload them to s ite that allows hotlinking (such as flickr) and use the symbol with just the tree.

When I read the thread title I thought this thread was about the second cyclone that's about to hit Burma!

I have some pics now of them on a Hurricane (you'll just have to imagine another one on top) but I can't work out how to resize them. If anyone wants to see them please PM me with your e-mail & I'll forward the pics.
