dear dave,

i had my boat repaired in november ish at the transom. the guy told me i had to pay him the £317.50 directly in cash and claim it back from my insurance. i didnt know proper procedure and so did it and was later informed by noble marine that it doesnt work that way.

the repair has since failed and split (apparently you need microfibres in west coast epoxy). can i realistically get the guy back as it wasnt repaired properly and hw should i go about getting my money back?

thanks tom

Find out where he lives and p i s s through his letter box! It wont help you get your money back but you will feel better!! Just make sure he doesn't have a dog before doing it !! ouch

Swig some scotch, quick.  When she come home, breathe heavily into her face, burp, fart and say 'any chance of a shag love, I'm gaggin' for it'.

She will say ' no I'm too tired' and go to bed. The bathroom will not be mentioned.

Looking at your 'graze' TT, its doesn't really count, as a slam, I've had bigger carpet burns than that.

Examples of proper slams can be found here.
