Magic Marine skiff boots are grippier than anything and stay on your foot! They stopped me slipping round the 29er

I'd check your boots first as GK.LaserII suggested.

I've found that Aigle Boras while really grippy in the 49er were cr*p in the 600 & 700. I've generally gone for Teva Protons but they seem to be as easy to get hold of as rocking horse sh*t, so ended up with a pair of Palm "Granite" boots which I have since found to be excellent for use on RS non slip surfaces.

The boat is quite old (older than me!) therefore all the grip has worn off. I don't really want to cover my boats insides with progrip as that would cost over £60 and don't have that handy!

Where on earth are you buying your progrip from? Theres nowhere near enough space in a 600 to fit £60 quids worth of progrip!

Not that much I don't think. You don't have to use epoxy i don't think, I didn't actually do it myself but I will try and find out for you.

Think you can do it with paint (don't take my word for it!), but its only a very thin layer of epoxy.

I'm not so keen on wax as it can look quite grubby after a while.

I've also found some windsurfing board spray on non slip stuff for sale which may work?

Chris, How much extra weight does the epoxy add onto the boat?

Thanks again.

Mark.
