If you had ever sailed at Warwick or Cam sailing clubs you wouldn’t think Bradford on Avon was small. Everything is proportional

For the 3 Rivers Race we send broads yachts up to 40ft long up a river that's only 50 ft wide in places.
An example of some of our sailing. https://youtu.be/L28qe_h48zQ |

Nice vid. I did the BBB a few years ago, waited for the train at the swing bridge and raised the board and loosened my rudder downhaul when the Reedham chain ferry set off and we had the kite up, obviously went behind as the chains slackened.

Yes it looks like it just a way of grouping sailors with in the overall py series for extra prizes . They weren’t doing that when 5 of us joined when Warwick closed in the mid 90s. I have to say at the time it was the most unfriendly club I had ever been a member of. All of us left with in a year . But I know from a friend that sails there , a few years later they had a new committee that turned the club around and took it in a more inclusive direction.

PS the one thing I did like about the club and the one thing they still do is sail pursuits.

If you want small, but not on a pond, check out Eyott Sailing Club, South Woodham Ferrers in Essex. Literally ditch crawling! https://eyottsailingclub.org.uk/location/

Brigman Sailing Club. I can't find their website anymore and in 2020 they only had three boats out due to weed and lack of sailors. I hope they're still going, especially since they had some unique boats. The narrowest sailing waters anywhere?
