Responsive and hard to see why you wouldn’t want to sail one. Carry’s weight well and cockpit allows getting right forward easily. If anyone is in the market for a singlehander I would suggest putting it on any list.

I’ve owned  one for the last couple of months and Woodman has totally put what I feel about the boat much better than I could have done. I am even taking it out for a blast even on days when there is no racing and I haven’t done that in 25 years.
My only regret is not getting one years ago  Smile

And that's pond pussy, don't insult northern monkeys, some of them sail on the sea.

That’s not a problem for GRF . He has the perfect technique for hauling boats across a shingle beach, we have all seen the pics of him and the rs100 lol lol  Smile

Seriously though , all power to him and everyone else that sails on the sea off a shingle beach.
It’s not for me , I am a total pond monkey . Smile

Well to be fair Shoreham and the beaches on that stretch of the coast are a lot kinder than ours, they do at least get sand, we have hard shingle which gets nastier the lower the tide. Suffice to say everybody at that demo however long ago it was thought exactly the same and it's why not one evr came here yet there are three or four Aeros which is not a natural ratio, I would have thought there would at least be one or two Zeros to every four or five Aeros at any given club with reasonable water access, it's still my view the Zero is much the better boat and nicer to sail, just not off our beach.

Double figures at Shoreham I believe and no reports of the self bailer bulge on the D-Zero being damaged during launch or recovery anywhere to my knowledge.

You were right about "they've got nothing to get hold of when you want to help someone in and onto the trailer" it's like wrestling with a very large (but light) bar of soap while staggering in the surf. A bit too Jeux Sans Frontiers.

Probably not, they were just my thoughts 7 years ago and a lot of water has passed under the bridge since then, I have read accounts of them not being the kindest boat downhill in waves, but then so are lots of others and I dare say, once my butt gets sat in an Aero, a lot of other issues will become apparent over the course of time.
