Lol no , happily retired . And yes I agree, lighting board arms are s@@t , that’s why I bought my last trailer in 2013. But that’s not the point, it’s the law . There are loads of laws I don’t like , I still have to follow them.

But next time you need a second hand car I will sell you one without a valid mot, but tell you it’s legal to drive on the road.
No need to worry about it after all, it’s just a administration error  LOL

Don't know the details behind the Winder saga..........but

The woefully bad design of combination jobbies for dinghies in general is worthy of a thread all of it's own, on this forum and others. If I was an orthopedic surgeon I would write a paper.

Or he's a trailer dealer with a bunch of warranty issues on his hands and he's just been issued a rivet gun and a map

Winder sold it as conforming to the law, it didn’t . It was their job to check it did , they didn’t .
The customers contract  was with winder , not the third party manufacturer.

There is no excuse for this , winder either did this knowingly or they were incompetent.  As I said earlier I am not sure what’s worse.  Cry

Big difference between a corner shop and a company that employs a large technical department and no unskilled staff.
