Winder and Trailers?

The judgement in full has been posted on many sites on fb.They should have known better . It was very stupid.It’s not like it was just a paperwork problem, they were selling trailers that did not conform to the regs ( no type approval)  . These regs have been in place since 2014 , they have now got to modify 146 trailers at a cost of £30,000 if the official announcement is to be believed. Plus they were fined over £4000.

	I think that's a different case. In much the same vein though, it seems DVSA are hunting down small trailer builders who are lax with the paperwork. It occurs to me that small unbraked trailers might be appropriate for exemption from IVA and construction and use regs. Have to lookup if there's any way of proposing that.

	There's a report on Facebook that Winder have been convicted of selling trailers without type approval. So far I haven't seen an official announcement from DVSA.
