How do you get further back in a canoe? Its prob one of the few boats im yet to sail, but didnt think the seat "pivots". Or are they very rare to mine? Like the yellow one who falls off then tries to get back on - good skills!!

The carridge which the seat sits on slides forwards and backwards Andy.

Ive never really been taken with canoes in the past but the new (old?!) ruleset has suddenly bumped them into my head... I think id seriously consider one if/when I look at another singlehander and I certainly wouldnt turn down a ride in one.

Top video... they really dont hang about upwind...

If I was looking at single handers it would be at top of my list of boats to try.

My Canoe is normally available for trips round the bay at Island Barn, but it will be a month or so before I've got her back together, and then I'll have tp spend a bit of time working up.

Great video sten. I have to say they look great on the water and off. Andy and Alex from Eastbourne SC have come to bbsc for the winter series and they are really quick. I think some of the canoes have tracks to move the seat back and forth?

The Canoes are stunning boats (i really like the yellow one ).

To me sailing one looks like there is a hell of a lot of things to get in a muddle with . Absolutly awsome boats!
