My arthritic knee is noticeably more painful hiking now I have moved to a drysuit for the winter.

I have not been out on the bicycle for a few weeks with other stuff getting in the way

Anyone had any help from a knee support?

Sounds like your wetsuit was providing some support, perhaps get a neoprene support.

You are right, have ordered one.

Was avoiding in case pressure on the patella made worse, but have bought one with a cutout. And it's no different from the pressure from my wetsuit anyway.

Perhaps hiking pads that strap over the drysuit maybe worth thinking about

After I had knee surgery I now have 2 types of support one with bars down the side as twisting causes problems and others just cheap neoprene fully enclosed.
Use the cheap ones for sailing keeps it nice and warm with a little support seems to do the job.
Only a few more years till my knee replacement, I'll stick a bit more padding on it then

Seems to be better with a support. Possibly just reminding me by strapping it on that my knee is worn and to go carefully helps most
