I found the permanently bent aluminium mast the oddest bit! I expected fibreglass. Apparently it fits inside the boat when derigged.
Some good ideas on the boat - perhaps a little too cunning? The 'wheelbarrow' method of moving it was quite good I thought. The sales guy assured me the wheel could cope with shingle. But it would need an adult to lift it, not a child. |

Anyone actually sailed a sunfish? They are horrible, sailed one on holiday once, might have just been that it was an old one but the boom was so low and it was when I was short..

I don't know, does laser's version look any good? or the same slow cramped boat? The only place I can really picture them is on a beach made out of rotting wood

perhaps to improve trim you could make the wheel into a paddlewheel, with a centally mounted steam engine hence giving it an integral tea urn as well. then even, how about sharpening the paddles to allow it to be used to trim the reeds at the edge of the lake, then considering the size of the thing use it as a lawnmower at home! |

No it will take 2 summers, this year it will get used a bit and left for the winter, and then not used next year because its rubbish and then be sold in the autumn
