Nice work, higher speeds than I’d expect from an 800 as well. High hr presumably from crew assume you were doing right courses.
Keep it up!

HR is mine! I have the flu so it's a bit high. Never measured it on a boat before and surprised at how high it was!

Bloody hell! 180 out of a helm of a trap boat!
Reckon you should’ve been wrapped up in bed 😀

Been off work last two days! I was pretty spent after one lap. Was low tide so we were pinging back and forth off the banks, never much more than 30 seconds before a tack or gybe. Makes it look like I'm putting some effort in though!

Fair play recon I’d struggle to hit 180 in my old age even running away from a lion.
Proper workout!

1st.. Can I be so bold as to point out the defition of old in relation to human lifespan and that you're probably only a third of the way there.

2nd 180? Even I don't reach that going anaerobic uphill on my mountain bike, he's clearly very sick, and not just mentally..

Nice work though, always fancied an RS800, had a go once but purely a beat home.

Well, max for the sail was 193. Cycling I can get up to high 190s, but the more fatigued I m the max comes down a little. Probably a little unfit compared to a year ago, plus being unwell might have added as much as 10 or 20. But it was a pretty tough sail with quite a few manoeuvres, but I've not worn it before, so don't have much to compare to.

I'll put the monitor on again next time, it'll be interesting to see if it's always that high.

Loving these videos & the extra data makes it more fun.

Had a little play around with the analytics graphics and worked out how to export in MP4 from my editing software to the Gamrin Software. The upshot is I can get an semi-transparent map insert underneath the GPS track. I think the data is a little clearer like this also.

Ignoring the content, I just synced up the first few minutes of footage for the sake of an example, what do you think about the overlay? Do you think they'd help build more of a picture for race footage?
