Yes flow battery tech looks interesting, although has been around for a while, such as Vanadium Redox batteries by UK startup RedTen, amongst others, for static storage from renewables.
At the moment I believe the energy density is nowhere near what we'd need for vehicles, but it's good to see developments in this direction.

Done some quick research, the simple explanation is you are pouring in a fully charged battery, the discharged battery fluid is removed and can be used again once charged up.

Flow batteries are heavy. Have interesting possibilities for static storage - such as connected to the grid to balance demand with renewables, but as far as I know no one has come up with anything close to what a car would require in terms of energy density.

Following shut down of only a few weeks, nature appears to be waking up, Otters in a Scottish city centre, canals in Venice clearing up, hole in Ozone layer closing, not trying to attribute all these changes to car emissions, but, it would appear this tradegy could point us in the right direction.

Yes,
once this is over, a lasting memorial and a tribute to the heroes, would be to deveope electric cars like our lives depended on it.

There is nothing particularly clever in engineering an electric car.

The challenges are producing batteries without causing more pollution than you solve; mining the seabed for rare elements.

Splitting hydrogen without an energy deficit .

Producing electricity without causing hidden pollution.
