As far as I know they stopped using mylar jibs on the fevas a while back, not sure the difference on a club jib or a racing jib. Speak to RS and they'l tell you
At £60 for a repair I would bite the bullet and buy a brand new one or a good second hand one
Edit; just read the rigging guide on the RS site and it seems like the race jib is just bigger. Go for that one if the boat gets raced. I also expect there are more of them second hand about than the small club ones anyway Edited by ClubRacer - 19 Sep 18 at 6:08pm |

Our club Feva Jibs are starting to deteriorate. Might buy new as its about £60 each for the repair. We have all Dacron "Club" ones at the moment. Should I buy more club ones or go for the Race mylar ones? We lend one of the better Fevas out for racing. Do the race jibs make a big difference?
