Hi,

Trying to work out how old a sail is, does anyone know when Hyde changed from the old red boat logo to the H?

If it doesn't break it's too heavy; if it does it wasn't built right

Any particular reason why ?
I have a Dcaron sail from the seventies, this sail is only used occasionally, stored rolled up, in the loft, looks and feels like new.

My 1999 Firefly sails had the boat, by 2007 the H.

Hydes might know?

From memory it was around 2001/2002. My first 600 main definately had the red boat and I think my second main I bought had the H. Sold the boat around 2003/2004 so definately before then.

Thanks, that is about when I thaught. I baught an older RS200 and the main has the red boat on it. Increadably it still seems to set OK and is in supprisingly good condition. Was having a discussion about it after sailing and we were trying to work out how old it could be.
