Hi all,
I just need a bit more advice. So a whole can of Teflon lubricant did nothing to free up the dagger board. We ended up capsizing the boat and whacking it out with a mallet. Could anyone describe, in steps simple enough for a deeply impractical pencil pusher to understand, how I can go about fixing the case? Is it simply a case of sanding it down? Thanks in advance.

It's there damage to the cassette? If the back of the cassette is damaged the board can wedge itself in the cassette, making it difficult to get out. I assume there is some packing material in the cassette. I'd suggest taking it out and replacing with something slightly thinner.
It's possible that the case was packed out for a different board, perhaps one that broke.
