	Reading the article you are correct there is no contest there. Whilst Giles and Brian have peaked in their respective disciplines Gavin went way past what could have been expected of him. I will admit it is more of a humanitarian story that a true yachting story but his contribution to the rescue seems to be outstanding. I am sure the entire crew played their own part though.

	Apologies if this has been discussed before, I dont keep up with this forum as much as I used to and this is the first time Ive heard the story But how can Gavin Reid not win this!
