I dont have kids, but do have 2 nephews (7&5).......  They dont care too much about christmas, but December the 5th when Sinta Claus arrives - oh boy

I've got the next 2 days off as paid holiday, I'm back Monday for the day ( well, til 4 pm ( only working til about 2 due to Royal Mail collection times - Then sleeep! ) )
