Last week's rather blowy Weds eve race at Warsash SC from a boom mounted action cam. Corniest music poss. Many capsizes, one avoiding the rescue boat ![]() Gusty + dead runs always make for entertaining Blaze sailing.

We don't get weed here in the Peak District. The water is too cold and the sun never shines!

Burghfield is currently full of water and weed free - still has some weird wind shifts though! |

It is not always weedy at Burghfield ..... The vast majority of the time it is fine. Besides when we do have a bit of an issue with the green stuff some types of craft do a really excellent job at 'clearing' it. Fixed rudders, cassette rudders, daggers and anything with wings on their foils or a lump of lead to drag around are the things that help ....

Hi Maxi
Last time the Phantoms went to Burghfield we could not get round the course with the rudder fixed down because of the weed. Can you imagine the nightmare with the winged rudders. Great video though. Gordon |
