	I've sailed by feel all my life, and did windsurf way back when, but not liking getting wet put me off rather, and meant I wasn't willing to commit, so always had a "sitting on the toilet" stance. I think that was what strained my back, and made things painful.

	Well like I said to Rupert, you guys here have half the battle won in your wind appreciation so it should be a lot easier for you than the average joe soap who has never done anything with the wind and water. I swear to God this dinghy sailing lark is more difficult, maybe it's the time of life at which i chose to take it up, or the string of ahem unusual craft for a beginner, but compared to the K.I.S.S. that is windsurfing, sailing dinghies to an acceptable standard is really hard to accomplish.

	You should join her Rupert with all your sailing experience in those mini sails you'd quickly find it a shoe in, then you'd also come to find what I'm always cracking on about with 'feel' to what the winds doing that is dead'nd by transmitting it through your butt.

	My daughter loves windsurfing, and was going every week last summer, till she broke her foot and had a boot... hoping to start again with it this season at South Cerney outdoor on a Wednesday night.
