Perhaps I could do a mixture of both and take my crew into the back garden and deal with her as Doug saw fit.

Might create as many problems as it solved though.

Quite right, it's superb stuff.

Soak all kit overnight in the bath with some Mirazyme, hang out to dry, job done.

I also wash my kit after every sail, then tumble dry
