I think you'll find It's a combination of 5 minuet epoxy, "bog" as well as duck tape...electrical tape, little bits of rope...

you have to let the kicker off before the tack, otherwise the boom gets wedged on your back and helps you into the water...

That might be Soren, the class chairman, iirc. He has the trapeze purchase within a solid tube so that he can go wire-to-wire and thus 'steer' the handle onto the hook one-handed. Very slick (if you do it right). |

It is indeed Soren. Apparently he is now developing some carbon 'wands' to replace the tubes to help the tacking process, and hopes to have them up for sale at some point. |
