Looking at the pictures of the boat the central bouyancy tank looks like it could be a bit of an obstacle to negotiate when tacking and gybing, or is that not the case?

Talk about fickleness of the forum.

Last week Mike was being given grief for promoting Blazes; Fire, not too heavy, reduced sail area, good leverage.

This week, come on Keith tell us all about your latest development.

Now don't me wrong, I'm lovin' hearing from both and any other designer / builder.  Hug

Thanks Keith - I'm not in the market, so happy to wait until your plans hit public domain with everyone else.  

I admire the lines of the boat and respect the ethos under which its owners and those who have sailed them seem to have embraced.

Personally I think there's a market for a much simpler product.

Someone just needs to market an adjustable width clip on thwart/seat that fits all classes, preferably made in some light material like not wood.

Turnturtle, point taken regarding 'feedback'. I will certainly attempt to publicise our progress with the development this summer. But at this stage it's too early to be revealing too much detail. Keith - when the time suits, please keep us on the forum updated on the new developments, as hinted at, take 'feedback' with a pinch of salt, I think the pop-pschye term would be emotionally disengage, but there are plenty on here who read and might not comment, who one day may look at a Hadron and say 'you know what, why not?'

The examples I've seen photos of make it look a lovely boat.

NeilB, as GuessWho says - no need to kneel in a Hadron. Not only is there a thwart, but the central buoyancy tank is a convenient seat too.
The 1.95m beam gives a fair amount of sitting out power, so, as you rightly surmise, you have less pain for the same gain.
Because the Hadron2 is much lighter, we are reducing the sail area by 10% (subject to development tests) so again there will be less heeling force. Boom clearance is 1050mm above the floor, increasing further aft (the boom is angled up). I think that a Phantom with no double bottom has a boom clearance of about 925mm.
