    I agree about the advertizing - it does keep the site running, so I'll concede that point. 
Not sure about the other - there has been great interest from many of us on here about the new Blaze rigs and how they are being developed - I can't see the problem with Mike (who is also a sailor in the class - I believe that is how he became builder) pimping an event so we can see them in the flesh and have a go. 
Maybe the extra revenue generated if he sells a few off the back of it could buy some advertizing space...

	Rupert, its a bit of fun poking to be honest. However...Mike owns Cirrus who sell the Blaze, so its not a member of a class association shouting about their class. Its a commercial interest. This thread was started by the blaze retailer and the last three 'Bumped' posts have been by the Blaze retailer! Therefore is massively commercial. I can not once recall ever seeing a Cirrus banner at the top of the page. There is no mention of cirrus under the marketing partners list on Y&Y. So my point is, buy an ad. Fund the site you use for your marketing. Lets be fair, advertising revenues from this industry are going to be woeful. Would we all be happy if RS, P&B, Sailboats, Hartley all started posting the same. I would suggest looking at other forums we wouldn't like it. Anyway, I agree with you. I no like, I no read. Just think its a shame that sites like this would not exist if every retailer thought it appropriate not to bother to pay to advertise their products but use the free forum. 	I can see the banter (and love the video) but it doesn't come across as the main point, I'm afraid. Been looking at those Fire pictures again, though, and wish I could make it along, but running a British Moth and 2000 class weekend at Whitefrairs. Mike, I'll have to pop over one windy day and give one a go sometime before Christmas!

	The class has always promoted itself .... and has a strong following with good turnout numbers. All are welcome to come along and try the boat at any of our meetings and this weekend is no exception. Looking at this forum I don't think we are quite the only class to update people on invitiations to come along and try occasionally !
