Burghfield SC - BLAZE (+Fire/Halo) Open next weekend.
The season opener usually with a decent social as well... This year in addition to the usual training and racing stuff we have added 4 or 5 boats available for loan - either for one day or two. Alrerady over 20 pre-entries and lots more locals and visitors expected on the weekend. Any forumites who would like to try a Blaze, maybe for the second time even, join-in, race, come to the social, just watch, drink beer (or non-alcoholic alternative...... well we are if nothing inclusive). Want to try a Halo or a Fire rig as well ? Of course you do ... Contact us or the CA by direct message/email - we can allocate boats, help with accomodation recommendations, even of the camping type etc etc. We have also ordered ideal conditons yet again. The class has always promoted itself .... and has a strong following with good turnout numbers. All are welcome to come along and try the boat at any of our meetings and this weekend is no exception.
Looking at this forum I don't think we are quite the only class to update people on invitiations to come along and try occasionally !  Its going to be a great weekend with decent breeze - what's not to enjoy ? Edited by blaze720 - 11 Apr 15 at 4:47am |

I can see the banter (and love the video) but it doesn't come across as the main point, I'm afraid. Been looking at those Fire pictures again, though, and wish I could make it along, but running a British Moth and 2000 class weekend at Whitefrairs. Mike, I'll have to pop over one windy day and give one a go sometime before Christmas!
