I expect anyone who puts an event on in the TFL area is required to say that, but I reckon Ally Pally is a lot easier with public transport than car if you're coming from south of the river.

We shall be leaving Swindon for the show early, partly because we are bringing stand decorations, but also to get a parking place!

The car parks are the same as normal, but the problem is that these fill up - especially on Saturday. I'm going up by train - there are shuttle buses laid on from Wood Green and Alexandra Palace stations. I find it so much less stressful than sitting in the car on the North Circular!

Still the young kids will be able to utilise it to do their treasure hunt.

Haven't seen much publicity from RYA for the show this year - usually we're bombarded with emails urging us to buy tickets at members discount but so far it's only exclusive offers from P&O!

Koops,

Funkymonkey are the guys if you want to buy at the show.

Alternatively there are several companies near Filton that can do it for you. Sema4Graphics in Berkeley have just done stickers for my daughters Oppie.

See you on Sunday

I like paper maps myself, but not when I'm hunting every little box on there to find the one that says the name of the shop/class I want. So the app makes that really easy to type "merl" and find the spot on the floor plan straight away.

See http://www.yachtsandyachting.com/news/181445/RYA-app for more on the app.
