   Rogerd - did you read my last post  Conversations change course all the time and this topic was pretty much banter when it started anyway.
I mean, you'd hardly expect us still to be talking about how many posts get which number of stars after 28 pages would you?

	I agree this thread is pretty much banter anyway but it is getting harder and harder to find any good stuff on here now. A lot of threads start of being quiet interesting on something technical one day and when you come back the next day there is 7 pages of gossip to read through and everyone has given up on trying to say anything serious. Some of the banter is funny but it would be nice if there were a few threads that could be saved for the proper techy stuff as well

	yeah but you do have to think, how seriously will a topic named 'Stars' be linked to sailing. I must admit it is annoying to come back to the forum after a day away and the threads to be 3/4 pages further on, and to make it more annoying you have to go to the bottom of each page to go back one.

	I wasn’t really talking about this thread cos I know its just a banter thread. But on the last page or so on this thread people were talking about how much banter there is at the moment and what threads it is in. So all I was saying is it would maybe be better to keep some of the techy threads a bit more banter free. After all I guess that is why they started the banter section. Sorry about the font by the way, it seems to go a bit weird copying in from Word and I haven't figured out how to format in here yet.

	Yeah I know what you mean, but it is hard to keep the threaads on topic sometimes. Thought it was good in one of the threads the other day a good point came up but was off topic so someone started a new topic for it,.

	kightmare, i don't want to seem rude or horrible but you are one of the people who posts alot of the 'banter' im not saying it's just you, but when i dig through all the pages of 'banter', it's your name i see most.
