Well I couldn't be there (bit far from Scotland)- but watched some live tracking. Looked kinda interesting Confused. No forum hogging, no winging, just some larfs - lets hear from those who did the event - the Highs and the Lows

The tracking was doing some funny things earlier. Had half the sailors out in the fields at all points of the compass!

Can't wait to hear peoples thoughts though.

Full marks to everybody that competed in the Oxford blue on a day like today.

Hope they had a great time in spite of the weather.

Back home- binned it after the second lap when the wind switched off. Big shift cue mark moving and lots of waiting- was showered, changed and fully packed up and hitched up before they hit the weather mark for Race 2- brownie points gained for early return.

Nice to catch up though, good sausage butty and clearly proof that, as predicted, aeros and zeros are very comfortable on the same course - bodes well for 2015!!!

Looks like last year's winner came last this year. Who'd have thought it!

Or did he not sail - didn't see him on tracking?

Quite a few trackers left ashore,  including the defending Champ,  for those concerned he is OK.  Weather a bit grim,  but great to see the lake packed with so many boats

Waiting for results

Just heading home now. Great fun and great job by the race team in cold and shifty weather. Life on the committee boats did not look fun, so thank you very much for volunteering to do it, whoever you were.
I am so unfit. I ache. Badly. And never again will I do three races B2B with no food or water since a very early breakfast!
