So, there we go.

Or is that too simple an answer for the conspiricy theorists?

Good news for the British of course is that those batches are in foreign places!

I seem to recall it was something like 1100-1300. Something like that ...

Possibly.

Dont forget RS hulls are built in Thailand and shipped so a 'poorly packed' container load could end up anywhere.

To be fair though The car you buy new will almost certainly have had some touching up and fettling done before you take delivery due to transit damage. My dad took delivery of a VW in 2007 and it had bare metal exposed on one of the doors where they had started to repair something but never actually finished it.

Not the zero Paul, that's built in the UK.  I beleive anyway!

As for new cars, that's not really the case anymore.  I'm not saying no vehicles are refinished, but it's rare.  Very rare probably point something of a percent in terms of new car registrations.

Honestly, I'm off for less than 12 hours and there's a veritable eruption in 'RS death wish' it's boring enough Zero v Aero here, and all over Facebook, can't we refocus on PY? At least it effects everyone.

To be fair partially correct on my part (I said RS as opposed to Aero specifically).

I believe RS have a production facility in Thailand (the 100 was/is produced there and I am sure the 200 and 400 were being built there). I am now told from a reliable source that Aeros are built in Boston, Lincolnshire. Not far from me in fact.
